Each group chooses their own curriculum and meeting time. Groups meet weekly for 1-2 years. North Way believes that small groups are where we make some of our greatest connections and where life-change happens best! North Way has a variety of group opportunities specifically for men. Neighborhood groups meet in various locations throughout the city. Leaders & open group information is always available online on the Small Group Finder. Care Groups North Way Counseling Center offers a variety of specialized support ministries specifically designed to help in concentrated areas. Such as Addiction Recovery groups, Purity groups, Marriage groups, Prayer groups, and Financial Peace University. Groups usually meet at the church and are led by individuals trained through the Counseling Center. Purity Matters (Wexford Campus) - Monday Nights Purity Matters is a committed group of men who are serious about sexual purity and integrity. This group provides accountability, biblical tools, practical habits and real life testimonies of men who have overcome sexual temptation. This group discusses profound tools to help you overcome your personal struggles through the power of Jesus Christ. We all share a common bond of transparency which helps undo the power that lust seems to have over so many men. Healing Life's Hurts Mens Group (Wexford Campus) - Monday Nights Prayer ministry is a way to remove the things that are holding you back, and learn more about the depths of God’s love and healing power for you. Under the supervision of Pastor John Syes and his prayer ministry leadership team, highly trained prayer ministers are available by appointment to lead you through prayer to grasp the freedom that only Jesus wants for your life. These groups are social and allow for men to gather and to do something fun together! Men's Basketball (Oakland) Big C Men's Fellowship Breakfast (Wexford) The Big C is a monthly breakfast hosted by North Way that strives to UNITE men from many different churches, CONNECT men through Christ to develop meaningful relationships, and IMPACT the world by being the men of God that He has called us to be. . . . JOIN US! The Big C is a monthly breakfast hosted by North Way that gathers men together from many different churches in order to share experiences, seek the truth, and grow in the Christian faith. Come and bring your friends! Study Groups Classes that focus on a particular curriculum taught by a live instructor/facilitator that lasts for 6-12 weeks. Based on Robert Lewis's groundbreaking 'Quest for Authentic Manhood' curriculum, the 33 Series explores the basic foundations of manhood and God's design for men, culminating in a clear, biblical definition of Authentic Manhood, modeled most clearly in Jesus Christ.
