About Our East End Campus
When are the church services? We gather for our worship service at 10 am every Sunday.
Where are the services?We worship at a local performing arts theater at 5941 Penn Avenue in East Liberty. Our ministry space is right next door at 5947 Penn Avenue.
What should I expect?We have a live worship team who will provide a worship experience that will draw from a diverse pool of music genres for a cross-cultural worship experience reflective of the different neighborhoods in the East End. We participate with the sermon that originates in our Wexford Campus and is shown in HD on a large video screen. Our Pastors, Bryan McCabe and Eugene “Freedom” Blackwell are on-site and lead us through the service and are available for pastoral care.
Where should I park? On street parking is available and free on Sundays and after 6 pm. We are also close to the bus line. Go here for details.
Where do my children go? We offer a safe, secure, fun and loving environment in Kidz Ministry for children ages birth through fifth grade. For more information, please visit our

Older children and students are invited to attend our worship services.

North Way East End Church Leadership
Dr. Bryan McCabe- Campus Pastor and LAMP Director
Bryan provides leadership and pastoral care to the East End campus and LAMP (Learning and Mentoring Partnership) a mentoring initiative in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh. He is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Bryan grew up at North Way and joined our staff in 2006. Bryan and his wife, Julie, live in Homewood and have two daughters, Kyra and Sierra.
Eugene "Freedom" Blackwell - Associate Minister
Eugene “Freedom” Blackwell serves part-time as the Associate Minister of the East End Campus, while he continues his ministry with House of Manna in Homewood. He and his wife, Free, and live in Homewood with their three children, Canaan, Elisha, and Elizabeth
Luke Cypher - Worship Director
Luke serves as our Worship Director and leads and develops our bands. He was a volunteer worship leader at North Way Oakland for several years before coming to the East End in 2012. He is currently living in the city of Pittsburgh.
Dana Hunter - Campus Manager
Dana Hunter coordinates all aspects of ministry at North Way East End. She has returned to her North Way roots in 2011 after several years in California. She and her husband David and their daughter, Gia, live in the Waterfront area.
Christina Shaffer - Kids Ministry Coordinator
Christina Shaffer serves our North Way East End families by leading our Kidz ministry. She has been part of our team since 2011. Christina, her husband, Budd, and their two children, Ellie and Preston live in Mt. Lebanon.
Corrie Passavant - LAMP Coodinator
Corrie Passavant serves North Way East End leading and coordinating our LAMP mentors. She joined our team in 2011. Corrie, her husband, David, and their daughter Ellie live in the East End.
Sherman Leeper – LAMP & Technical Assistant
Sherman joined the North Way team in 2012. He serves our East End community by providing technical support for special events and also supporting the LAMP program and other outreach efforts in the city. He lives in Homewood with his son, Kai.
