SUMMARY:Sewickley Valley KidsGiG Attenders 2026 - Sensory Friendly
DESCRIPTION:*This registration is for the sensory friendly experience!*\n\n    \n        Please register here if you do not need accommodations.\n    \n \n\nKidsGiG is North Way’s annual summer camp experience for Preschool-5th graders to grow in God together.  At Sewickley Valley\, we recognize that sometimes the bright lights\, loud music\, or even large crowds can be overwhelming for kids with sensory needs and have created an environment that will help them get the most out of KidsGiG. As a part of the sensory friendly experience\, we offer a livestream option for large group and adapted small group curriculum. Kids will have access to the Autism Ministry Wing for a separate\, quieter space and get additional fun zone time with no lines or crowds. With that being said\, our goal is to include them as much as possible! Kids who participate in the sensory-friendly experience will be placed in an age-appropriate group with their peers and will be offered the opportunity to participate in all the same activities during GiG. Please note that registration closes when the limited spots are full OR on Sunday\, May 24 at 11:59pm.\n\nJune 9-13 at North Way Sewickley Valley: $70 per camper\n• Preschool campers must be 3 by June 1. \n• Campers in Kindergarten-5th graders should be registered based on the grade level just completed during the 2025-2026 academic school year (i.e. a 5 year old who is going into Kindergarten is still only eligible to register as a preschooler).\nMon-Fri:  9am to 12pm\nFamily Celebration: Friday at the end of GiG for all campers and their families\n• To register\, you must log in to your northway.org account or create a new account.\n• Registration will take about 10 minutes to complete per child. This is because a separate registration form must be completed for each child to ensure that all information is collected properly in North Way’s database to best prepare for all children attending.\n• For scholarship information\, do not register yet and contact sarahc@northway.org. \n• Please note that the mobile phone number provided will be used to receive text messages regarding your child(ren)’s registration for this event. To opt out of receiving text messages\, please update your profile settings at https://northway.org/account/ \nFamilies may indicate their preferred sensory-friendly location; however\, placement is subject to availability and KidsGiG capacity. North Way Christian Community reserves the right to admit participants to only one campus location. A participant’s spot in the sensory-friendly experience is not guaranteed until final confirmation has been issued by the Autism Ministry coordinator or director. This is subject to availability and the family’s participation in all required onboarding steps. Payment will be processed once spot in event is confirmed.
