At Sewickley Valley\, we recognize that sometimes the bright lights\, loud music\, or even large crowds can be overwhelming for kids with sensory needs and have created an environment that will help them get the most out of KidsGiG. As a part of the sensory friendly experience\, we offer a livestream option for large group and adapted small group curriculum. Kids will have access to the Autism Ministry Wing for a separate\, quieter space and get additional fun zone time with no lines or crowds. With that being said\, our goal is to include them as much as possible! Kids who participate in the sensory-friendly experience will be placed in an age-appropriate group with their peers and will be offered the opportunity to participate in all the same activities during GiG. DESCRIPTION:Join the North Way team Summer 2027 to serve in Tegucigalpa\, Honduras. Our team will be immersed in the culture as we see what God is doing in Honduras. Team members will learn about Latin American culture by meeting and connecting with local families and even staying with host families for some of the trip. The team will partner with CCI (Christian Camping International) and North Way Global Partner\, Lisa Anderson-Umana\, and Hope 4 Honduras to share God’s love with local underprivileged students by providing a camp experience. Note: You must submit the $200 deposit with your application to be considered for this team.
