Beaver Valley Child Care Team Member

JOB DESCRIPTION

North Way Christian Community is hiring a part-time Child Care Team Member (up to 8 hours/week) for our Beaver Valley Campus. This position is responsible for providing childcare during ministry events and is for an individual who enjoys caring for and engaging with children through free play, games, or other activities while teaching them about the love of Jesus.

Availability Requirements: Child Care Team Members must be available to work Monday and Tuesday evenings to support small groups. Availability to work Thursday mornings and occasional Saturday mornings for other ministry-related events is also required as needed. The baseline requirement for this position is the ability to work both Monday and Tuesday evenings during small group programming.

QUALIFICATIONS

Fundamental qualifications for all applicants include a growing relationship with God, a desire to impact the world with the love and message of Jesus Christ, a discerned calling into this position, and the willingness to regularly attend and participate in North Way worship services and ministry activities.

The additional qualifications for this position include:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Prior childcare experience preferred

• CPR/First Aid certified

• Pennsylvania Mandated Reporter Training

• Comfortable using a computer for recording time and attendance

• Communicating with Child Care Team and staff via email

• Can lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Background clearances must be renewed if selected for this role
