North Way Christian Community is a multi-site, non-denominational church that wants to see Pittsburgh experience hope and transformation by experiencing the gospel of Jesus Christ. While we are non-denominational, we also closely align with an evangelical tradition.
We are home to many people from a wide spectrum of church backgrounds. Whether you have lots of questions about Jesus, or have followed Him for years, you are welcome here.
Our desire is that our church reflects God's Kingdom in heaven here on earth. We celebrate the image of God in every person and pursue the Biblical call to genuine love, unity, and reconciliation.
Together, we seek to reflect Jesus to the world around us as we live an authentically Christ-centered life.

Our mission is to lead people to know, experience, and follow Jesus. When we do those things, we encounter Jesus.
Know Jesus
To fully follow Jesus is to intimately know the Scriptures in a growing manner. (Romans 10)
Experience Jesus
To fully follow Jesus we must walk in step with the Spirit and live, move, and have our being out of the Spirit’s gifting. (Romans 8)
Follow Jesus
To fully follow Jesus we must never ignore His call to the church to go and make disciples. (Matthew 28)

Our Lead Pastor
Dave D'Angelo
In 2020, through God’s leading, Dave D’Angelo became the third lead pastor in the history of North Way Christian Community.
Before becoming Lead Pastor, Dave served as North Way’s Family Matters Champion. Dave and his family moved to Pittsburgh from Ohio where Dave served on the Leadership Team at New Pointe Community Church (NE Ohio). There, Dave worked in multiple roles including Executive Pastor and Campus Pastor, leading the multi-site expansion effort to help grow to six campuses.
