God’s plans for our lives are purposeful. From birth to final breath, He calls to us—inviting us to step into the good works He prepared in advance for our lives. Through the years He cultivates our gifts, strengthens us through challenges, resources us through relationships and encourages us with opportunities. No season is wasted. When we take the time to look for God’s hand on our lives, we gain wisdom and appreciation for His plans. We receive perspective on who He created us to be, and we find peace at every age.

This year, special guest and friend of North Way, Dave Buehring speaks to calling and character development. Dave is a devoted follower of Jesus who serves as the founder and president of Lionshare. Over the last four decades, he has served as a missionary, pastor and leader, using his gifts to teach and model the ways of God. Dave has a lifetime commitment to making disciple makers, shaping leaders and equipping the Church. He’s the author of Welcome to the Kingdom, A Discipleship Journey, The Great Opportunity: Making Disciples of Jesus in Every Vocation and his latest, Discipleship Journey Kids. He and his wife Cheryl reside in Franklin, Tennessee.
