Slaves and masters: Paul addresses this relationship in Ephesians. Yup, this section of the Bible is uncomfortable. Sections of the Bible likes his one can make you not want to believe the Bible at all and just put it back on the shelf. Why didn’t Paul take this opportunity to call out the buying and selling of human beings? This doesn’t feel like it aligns with Jesus’ teaching at all.
