Whether you know the biblical story or not, you probably know “The Good Samaritan”. The modern understanding of what the story means, has overshadowed its meaning in the bible.When Jesus talks about His Kingdom, he doesn’t really mean it will be in the future, which is how our culture tends to visualize it. However, He talks about it in the here and now. Jesus has some expectations of us during our time in history, but, we’re not always great at living into them.The Gospels indicate that Jesus wants us to roll our sleeves up and live actively based on His principals.
