Thirsty for Acceptance

Rejection is tough. We all want to be liked. We want to please the people around us. We want to feel accepted. Sometimes people even pretend to be someone they aren’t and compromise their own standards. Then they don’t even know who they are anymore. The more we long to please people, the more we say yes. We become blinded to the things right in front of us and hurt the people we love the most.When we start to submit to the people around us for acceptance, then our focus is no longer on God. How can we learn to be more like Jesus and instead submit to the cross?Speaker : Pastor Dave D’Angelo
