Just a quick update for the friends & family following the mission team on this journey, which so far has been all about travel to the mission field. The team’s adjusted flight plan went well, but every one of us agrees it was long, hard travel. Actually at this point (Friday night) the whole team has yet to even arrive at the mission homestay. The last leg of the trip didn’t have enough seats for everyone so the airline split our party of 11 into 5 and 6. Five of us finished out to Chiang Rai and made it to the homestay. The other 6 had to spend a night at a hotel in Bangkok and return to the airport in the morning to finish their flight to Chiang Rai.
By Saturday morning we will all be together and ready to get to mission work! One of the first things on our agenda is a Prayer Walk! Stay tuned for a recap of that tomorrow.
