Today, we met with the wonderful ladies at the Lighthouse ministry, where we had the opportunity to have a girls’ day! We painted their nails along with a devotional reminding them and ourselves that we are all beautiful, important, and loved by Jesus. We cleansed and sanitized before doing nails as a representation of Jesus cleaning and wiping away all the harm and dirt, where we are made clean through Jesus. At the end, they received a gift bag with a hand lotion, nail files, a bookmark with Bible verses, a chapstick, and fun hair ties! There was so much love in the room, it was amazing! Truly felt the Holy Spirit in the room with us. Everyone was laughing and having conversations despite the language barrier. We had amazing translators to help us communicate our love and prayers to these women. The rest of the day was spent helping with cooking, cleaning, and lawn care for the facility. It’s only Day 2, and we are SO excited to be here to share and spread God’s love.
