On Tuesday night, half the team, Wendy, Lauren, Noah, Chris, Rob, Brian, and Lanni, prepared 200 wrapped hotdogs with two of the Mission to El Salvador staff, Torri and Jon Snyder. Together, they loaded into the back of a truck and spent the evening driving around the streets of San Salvador, handing out meals to those in need. It was a deeply moving experience mixed with joy and sorrow. Fathers, mothers, children, and other community members excitedly lined up at the truck to fill their bellies with an unexpected blessing. For many, the only meal they can count on each week comes from Mission to El Salvador’s regular Thursday night meal distribution. Thanks to your kind efforts, the team was able to sponsor these additional meals. Thank you for being part of this mission.
