It is hard to believe we’ve arrived at our final day in Honduras!! This morning we traveled back to Lisa’s house in Tegucigalpa from Valle de Angeles. Here we are preparing ourselves physically and mentally to return to the United States ready and able to share what we’ve witnessed God do in Honduras this week. Tonight we will have dinner and a final sendoff celebration with our host families who we’ll stay with one more night before departing for the airport tomorrow morning.
This trip has meant so much to each of us, and the team is so excited to share our experiences with you and others when we return. The support we have received is incredible, and we are so very grateful for every prayer and thought given for our team and our mission in Honduras. From all of us, we want to say thank you for partnering with us and being a crucial part of God’s redemptive mission on earth.
As we say goodbye, we pray for clarity to see and thank God for all he’s done, peace as we leave people we’ve come to love dearly, safe travels all day tomorrow, reverse culture shock coming back into our regular lives, and opportunities to tell others about this trip, our experiences, and how we witnessed God touching lives.
Muchas gracias, thank very much! Dios te bendiga – May the Lord bless you.
