Central Facilities and Maintenance Support

JOB DESCRIPTION

North Way Christian Community is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Central Facilities and Maintenance Support team member to serve across our multi-site church. This position is part of the Facilities Team and is responsible for supporting all campuses by maintaining church facilities and grounds in a clean, safe, orderly, and fully functioning condition.

This role plays a key part in creating an environment that supports ministry effectiveness, reflects excellence, and presents North Way in a positive and welcoming light to our congregation and surrounding community. The individual in this role will contribute to an atmosphere that empowers ministry efforts and advances the mission of expanding God’s Kingdom.

QUALIFICATIONS

Fundamental qualifications for all applicants include a growing relationship with God, a desire to impact the world with the love and message of Jesus Christ, a discerned calling into this position, and the willingness to regularly attend and participate in North Way worship services and ministry activities.

The additional qualifications for this position include:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Prior housekeeping and/or maintenance experience preferred

• Detail-oriented and thorough

• Ability to operate tools and equipment used in routine housekeeping

• Ability to use a computer, radio, and mobile phone/applications

• Possesses a good attitude and willingness to work, properly organizes and performs work assignments, and uses good work habits

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

• Background clearances must be current
