INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
North Way Christian Community is seeking a Kids Ministry Intern for the City Campus to serve up to 10 hours per week (10 hours per week) supporting our Kids Ministry, with a primary focus on helping lead and develop our 4th/5th grade experience. This individual will play a key role in building relationships with upper elementary students, helping them grow in their faith, and preparing them for a successful transition into Student Ministry. The intern will assist in leading and supporting the volunteer team, contribute creative programming ideas, and help create engaging environments where kids can know, experience, and follow Jesus.
This role will also provide administrative support to ensure weekly ministry environments run smoothly. We are looking for someone with a growing personal relationship with Jesus, a passion for investing in kids, strong relational skills, and a desire to learn and grow in ministry leadership while serving as part of a collaborative team.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Attendance at local college, seminary, or similar higher education institution preferred

Prior experience in Kids Ministry preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office-based products
