Romans
To some, the book of Romans might feel distant. Geographically and historically speaking, the city is far and ancient. Written by the apostle Paul to people whose lives might seem foreign to the modern American, the letter itself may feel as inaccessible and weathered as the sunbaked stones stacked to form an empire thousands of years ago. But taking time to explore Paul’s longest New Testament letter, we will see that the book of Romans is not only still relevant and important to our walk as Christians today, it is the very blueprint for what we work toward as a church: unity, greater evangelism, and the prioritization of the glory of God in and through us as His people.Â
