JOB DESCRIPTION

North Way Christian Community is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Administrative Assistant for our multi-site church. This position provides high-level administrative support to our Directional Leadership Team, event planning, project management, and central program coordination while helping create an environment that empowers and encourages ministry to expand God’s Kingdom.

QUALIFICATIONS

Fundamental qualifications for all applicants include a growing relationship with God, a desire to impact the world with the love and message of Jesus Christ, a discerned calling into this position, and the willingness to regularly attend and participate in North Way worship services and ministry activities.

Candidates should possess strong administrative and organizational experience, proficiency in office technology and communication platforms, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced ministry environment.

This dynamic role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and proactively offer solutions with a high level of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, trust, and loyalty. The ideal candidate will demonstrate emotional maturity, relational intelligence, adaptability, and a servant-hearted approach to ministry support.

Education, Skills & Experience:

  • Associates degree in related field or two years equivalent experience

  • Minimum of five years of experience in administrative or related field at the executive level preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows-based and Mac products

  • Background clearances must be current

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
