JOB DESCRIPTION
North Way Christian Community is seeking a part-time Counselor (up to 20 hours/week) for our multisite church. This position provides individual, marital and family counseling services to adults and children as well as provides counsel regarding psychological or emotional problems, assists clients to identify personal and interactive problems, and to achieve effective personal, marital, and family development and
adjustment, and develops and implements treatment plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Fundamental qualifications for all applicants include a growing relationship with God, a desire to impact the world with the love and message of Jesus Christ, a discerned calling into this position, and the willingness to regularly attend and participate in North Way worship services and ministry activities. The additional qualifications for this position include:

Master’s degree in counseling or related field

Minimum of two years of counseling or therapy experience in a variety of fields (family, marriage,
individual, etc.)

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based and Apple-based products
-
Background clearances must be current
